London Broil
OK I bought a London Broil and I have no idea what to do with it now. I am the worst in the kitchen, but I wanted to try new things, so I felt adventurous and bought it, but now I don't know what to do with it, LOL. Does anyone have a good recipe for me? TIA

Re: London Broil
You can make a marinade and then broil it - that is what I do.
A friend gave me this recipe a while back -
Extra Virgin Olive Oil Balsamic vinegar minced garlic onion dijion mustard salt and pepper
I always do it to taste- You marinate the meat for about 2-4 hours then just stick it under the broiler. Very easy.

Re: London Broil
Jack Daniels makes these marinades that come in a pouch bag that you put the steak right in it. They are called EZ Marinader. I have only seen 2 kinds, Mesquite and Teryaki. And they are both really good!!! I keep it in there all day, then throw it on the grill. Slice it up & serve on garlic bread w/ mozzerella cheese!! YUM

Re: London Broil
I just made the BEST London broil Monday night and it couldn't be easier.
London Broil Rub olive oil a good bit of salt and fresh creacked pepper and rub it all over on both sides. broil it for 4 minutes on each side and it is a perfect medium.

We use the Lawry's 30 minute marinades and then grill it. The sesame ginger is very tasty on london broil

Same here- just make sure you stick the meat a few times first with a fork

don't pierce the meat...you should never pierce any cut of beef, it will dry it out.

Re: London Broil
you can marinate it- put some teriayki sauce in a plastic bag, and put the london broil inside it, close the bag, shake it around a bit and let sit in frig for a couple of hours, then grill it.
you can also do the same with duck sauce, barbecue sauce or even italian dressing.
if you dont have time to marinate it, just put some salt and pepper and garlic powder on it and marinate it.
YUM> i love london broil cause it is the easiest to cook!
Good luck!

Re: London Broil
Really dumb question - you can buy this in a supermarket right? Is it just labeled london broil? I have never made steak before.
