Baby Eye Color
I am hispanic with brown eyes. But my Dad and my mother's mom has green eyes. My grandmothers brother has blue eyes. My husband and his family are caucasion and all have green eyes. My daughter is two months now and her eyes can seem to stay one color. She can be dark brown almost black one moment and then change to hazel to green and change again. People look at me weird when they ask me what color her eyes are and I tell them they change. She came out exactly how we wanted her to look like: very white complected, dark curly hair but her eyes are still up in the air... UUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH, I guess time will only tell, right? Ive read of baby's eyes getting lighter and others getting darker! I hate this waiting game! LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK WILL BE THE VERDICT!!!!!!!

Re: Baby Eye Color
I'm sure they will be dark brown, but what does it matter that the baby has a white complexion and light eyes??

Re: Baby Eye Color
I still would love my DD the same way if she came out dark or what ever color, but being hispanic with colored eyes runnign in my family and me not getting my dad's and grandmother's eyes was a bummer to me. Being married to a white man, I would of hoped my daughter get his eyes and not just that but I wanted her to get his lips, which she did. I think many women have a vision of what they want their babies to look like...But im sure like me, they will still love their kids the same.

Re: Baby Eye Color
Looking at your pictures of her on your profile my guess is they will be brown. Her eyes are really dark brown. My DD was born with blue eyes, now at 1 1/2 she has green eyes.

Re: Baby Eye Color
eye color may take a long time to show true color. My son had blue eyes until after he was 2. Now almost 4 his eyes are greenish, yellowish, light browish or otherwise known as Hazel.

Never had a vision of what I wanted my kids to look like!! I can tell you that DS had blue eyes like his dad until he was five, now they are green like me.
DD has blue eyes that haven't changed yet.

Yeah...I agree with Summer...
My DS is very fair with very dark brown eyes, they turned that color when he was about 3 months old and have stayed.

Re: Baby Eye Color
my spanish inlaws are still in shock that Josh has blue eyes. They make a huge deal of it...which is weird since my eyes are blue.
DH's cousins all had an image of what my baby will look like...white skin, dark hair, light eyes.
