Totally joking. I agree with everything you write about vaccines
I knew you were joking. I was trying to make fun of myself as well.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.

Re: is anyone not going to get their kids their shots?
Same, staggered schedule. He got some at the 2 month visit, and he's getting polio and pneumonia this month (3 months).
I need to talk to my ped about MMR and research it some more, but I may delay that also.

Re: is anyone not going to get their kids their shots?
I am not sure what to do about the MMR shot. My dd 15 months and her check up is coming up.
For the mom's who are delaying there MMR shots. When are you going to give your dc the MMR shot? Did you delay the chicken pox vaccine as well?TIA

Emma got her 1st one at 3 and 2nd MMR at 5. She got the pox about 3 months later.
Jeremy is 3 and has not gotten the MMR or Pox. MMR at 4 Pox at 5, 2nd MMR at 5 1/2 before he enters school

Thank you so much for the information! I definitely going tell my dd ped. I would like to wait on the MMR and Chicken Pox shots. Hopefully they are understanding! Thanks again.

Re: is anyone not going to get their kids their shots?
She has been on a regular schedule so far, but I wish to break up her MMR...unfortunately her Ped won't do this, so I'm trying to find one who does.
Oh, and I refused the flu shot for her. Can I refuse the chicken pox vacc too?

from everything i read, there is no link between MMR and Autism. Thus, I am going by the recommended schedule, because I don't want to prolong her pain.

Yes, you make the choice as to whether your child gets certain vaccinations or not. You have every right to make the decision.
ETA: They may make strong recommendations and you may decline just as strongly. You win!

Re: is anyone not going to get their kids their shots?
Both my kids have gotten (or will get) all of their shots at the recommended times.
Those of you that delay the MMR for so long..are you worried about the risk of your child contracting measles? Especially that there have been recent cases in our area?
