Poll: Do you bring a video camera on vacation?
And do you actually use it?
I just stick to a digital camera.

my husband is the king of cam corders! Yes, it comes on every vacation. This last one though it bit the dust because we were on a catamaran watching a pod of nearly 100 dolphins. The water was very choppy and a big wave hit my DH and the cam corder.
I will admit though, we do enjoy revisiting the places we've been on video.

No, just our digital camera (or two). But our camera takes great video with sound and it's waterproof so we just use the camera to take video.

Same here! Every vacation!
And then he cuts a movie when we return. And although I get on his back to put it away throughout the vacation, I love having it years later to look back on.

we bring everything we have, 2 cameras (1 that we can take underwater) and video camera... my husband has to carry it all

I love having my video camera with me. During our 2 week honeymoon, I went through 2 tapes. They're fun to look back on, although I don't bore other family members with them. They're really just for DH and me.
