New Twim Mama-to-be!!
Hi,
I'm 15 weeks along and very nervous and excited at the same time. I am looking forward to hearing about your experiences as a twin mom. Of course, we are planning for the comments of "oh, how are you going to handle it?", "twins, I can hardly handle one". My feeling is that DH and I have nothing to compare it to, so anything will feel overwhelming!!
The only thing that scares me is the cost of daycare. We are secretly hoping that my mom takes one day and his mom another, so we only have to pay for 3 days; however, from what I hear, it's still expensive. Any suggestions (besides trying to win the loto  would be greatly appreciated.

I know how overwhelmed you can get in the beginning. I was scared to death by all the comments I got, but truthfully, you just do it and its not bad at all. Is this your first baby? If so, you'll be fine, you dont know it any other way.

Congrats, I heard every comment in the book as was so scared about how I was not going to be able to handle it. We handeled it pretty well if I do say so myself, because you just have to and you don't know any better.
The only thing I wish I handeled differently was joiing a Twins Club when they were younger, I finally joined when they were almost 2.
2 in daycare is alot, but once again you find a way to make it work. Good Luck!

Congratulations!!! We are all a bit scared in the beginning, but you will do fine - it's just a matter of finding which a routine that works for you and the babies, and sticking to it.
Daycare is expensive for 2 - but most palces will give a second child discount, which helps.
