Pink around dogs eyes
We have a jack russell...He is 6 years old..We have only had him a couple of months...As the day goes on around his eyes get very pink...Not the inside of his eyes but around his eyes.. I am attatching a pic, but it is with my camera phone so not the best, but does anyone know why this happens? Image Attachment(s):

I have never seen this happen before. I would at the very least contact your vet if not bring him there ASAP!

is he tired when he starts getting pink? I have a cat who has a white face, and her eye gets pink around when she is really tired for some reason, or if she was rubbing it. call your vet just to be safe.

Is Katie also a jack russell? Max gets pink at his nose as well... Thinking about it, yes it usually is when he is tired. He is now in a house with two kids, so compared to where he was, he gets a ton of exercise and we are probably wearing him out!
