I'm going to cut white flour out of my diet completely at least once a week.

I will start looking into and experimenting with alternatives for refined sugars in baking.



Cutting out white flour... working on it. I find that I'm great all day on most days and then one thing trips me up. Yesterday it was pita chips. Today, my bran muffin has white flour. We only have whole wheat flour in the house now, which is a step in the right direction, though, and I think the pita chips were the only white flour product we bought this week at the grocery store.

sugar alternatives... I remembered a cookbook I have that doesn't use any refined sugars in anything, so I will use a recipe from there next time I want to make something sweet.

MIND
I will watch less TV and read 3-4 books this month.



I shut or tuned out the TV a lot last week and have already gotten through 1 1/2 books. I'm gonna need to hit the library!

PROFESSIONAL
I will dedicate myself fully to my job (when I have work to do) instead of counting the days til I blow this pop stand.



Yeah, that's not going to happen. Work is just too slow.

I re-thought my goals a little bit and edited my original post.

My main goal is getting back the strength and flexibility I've lost during PG and the PP period. I made some changes under "Body".

BODY:
I work at getting back into doing Yoga
--I will do the abs yoga 3 nights a week (to work on my PP and c/s belly)
--I will do an alternate yoga at least 2 nights (but hopefully 3) to help regain my flexibility and strength- which I lost during PG and the PP period
**So far I've been able to do a yoga DVD once Daniel is in bed. I've been successful the past 3 nights.

I will work at planning menues for the weeks so I'm not just grabbing "what ever"
(This addresses my original statement of--Need to come up with something doable to improve my diet.)
**I talked to DH yesterday about foods that he likes to eat and then I went to the grocery store and bought foods with specific meals in mind.

MIND:
I will read the book on eating well that I have been carrying around (and not reading)
**Still haven't gotten to this one.

SOUL:
Same as above, Yoga at least 3 nights a week.
**See above. The fact that I've actually followed through the past 3 nights makes me feel very good.

PROFESSIONAL:
I will fine tune my resume, and continue my job search.
**May have to re-think this one since I accepted a job. But I'll keep my feelers out there to be safe.

PARENTING:
I need to work on reading to Daniel every day also.
**Yes, I've been reading to him.

:BODY:

I will start running 3 days a week.
I joined Weight Watchers two weeks ago





Last week I ran three days. So far this week I ran yesterday and today.
Still sticking to WW, although I didn't count points all weekend. But I tried to make smart choices.



:MIND:
I was such a bookworm, but since having DD, I have stopped. Last week I went to the library and took out a bunch of books. I will continue to read a book every 2 weeks.




I finished Summer and am about to read House of Mirth by Edith Wharton.


SOUL:
I will try to read books that will raise my awareness. I will also try to meditate.


No meditating, but reading.



PROFESSIONAL:
I will focus more on work, less on LIW Chat Icon and be more on top of my cases. In April or May, I will explore new job options.



Not doing great here. I have some stuff on my desk that I just haven't taken care of.



PARENTING:
I will start to explain things to Jordana when I say no. I will discipline her and follow through with any punishments that I threaten.



I have been better at this.
