reheating roasted potatoes (sweet potatoes)
Is it possible to reheat roasted sweet potatoes and have them still taste good?
I think I'm going to do a trial this weekend...
My mom wants to use my roasted sweet potato recipe, but she only has 1 oven -- so she can't roast the meat and the potatoes in there at the same time. We were wondering if we could make them ahead of time and reheat -- or, cook them partially, then reheat them / finish cooking them later.
She's hoping she can heat them up in about 15 - 25 mins.
I'll do a trial run, anyway, but just curious if anyone has any experience here!

You can par-boil the potatoes at your house and then finish them off at your mom's house. that would give you the freshest taste.
otherwise, you can cook it beforehand at your house and keep it in room temp. and when you get to your mom's just put it in the over for 10-15 minutes at 450-475.

I make a roasted sweet potatoe recipe and Ive reheated them. Since you are planning on reheating them maybe make them just to the point of being done..then bring them over warm..and continue from there.
