stash busting... let's share patterns...

... please!

as i'm looking and hoping to make myself a sweater, i did some cleaning. i realized i'm unemployed (for another two weeks) and too broke to buy new yarn, and i noticed that i have a lot of yarn laying around.

let's put together a list of ideas/patterns to bust your stash!

i'll start...

i don't have patterns, but i have ideas:

*small clutch bag
*fingerless gloves
*ipod cozie
*socks

i'll see about finding patterns.

what do you do with your small amounts of yarn... BOTH KNIT AND CROCHET

I take all my mismatched left over yarn and make blankets for Little Shelter for the cats and dogs.

I made a bunch of fingerless gloves for gifts last year.
The pattern is from the Lion Yarn site. I adjusted to the pattern to the person.

They took me a couple of hours to make and they came out great. You knit them flat and just fold them in half.

I don't have my stash here but would be interested in charity squares.
Are you ladies going to the knitting group?

If anyone wants, I can try and find the directions for the gloves.

Lion Brand Yarn has tons of free patterns on their website. The bunny I made came from their site.
