Have you ladies ever heard of this
My cousin was scheduled to have a C-Section later this week (first baby was C-Section). She is due next week but woke up in labor in the middle of the night. She ended up having to get MORPHINE - she had a vaginal birth. All went well but MORPHINE??? My goodness. I would never think they would give that during delivery.

Some docs think its ok. Maybe it wouldnt have gotten through the placenta in the amount of time it took to get the baby out.

There is morphine in the spinal when you get a c-section. I had no idea until the next day when the anesthesiologist asked me if I was itchy- I said YES!!!! It was a side effect of the morphine.
