The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett
Has anyone read this?? Heard it was Great and am contemplating getting it.

I have about 80 pages left.
The first 100 pages were kind of just OK but then it got really good.
I have loved reading this book and reading 900 pages went so much faster than I thought it would. I definitely recommend it.

Yes, I really liked it a lot. It was soo long though! I don't remember the beginning being slow.
I started reading the second one, but it was just so big and heavy to bring back and forth to work with me. I'll have to wait until it comes out in paperback so I can bring it on the train

I love love this book and is my number 1 favorite book. The first 80-100 pages were so hard but once I got through that I really got into the book and finished it in a week. I love it and want to start the second one but will probably wait until it is out in paperback. I hope you read it and enjoy it!!!

I actually just finished it and I thought it was really good. It is a long long book, but well worth the read. I agree, the first 80 or so pages were kinda slow for me, but keep with it, you'll enjoy it.

It's my book club pick for next month- I was initially going to pass because it didn't seem interesting to me, but I decided to try it and I have been loving it. I am about halfway done.
