Question about the video test **UPDATE**

I waited SEVEN YEARS to get my stupid ATS-V video thing in. The deadline was March 21, and I overnighted the video on March 18.

Aren't I supposed to receive a confirmation from the company that they received my materials? It's been 2 weeks and I'm anxiously checking my mailbox every day - I'm freaking out that the tape got crushed in the mail or I wrote the wrong P.O. box or something. How long does it take to get a letter from them saying they have your video? I'm dying here!

Update: Wouldn't you know, the day after I wrote this, I got a postcard in the mail from NES telling me that they received my materials and are mailing my score on May 2. Whew!

I don't recall if they send you confirmation of the receipt of your video. I think they just tell you your score online on the grading date. Im' not positive though.

UNless you requested "return receipt" requested from the post office, Fed Ex, etc. it's a few weeks before they send you a letter that they received your video. then it's a few weeks after that they let you knwo whether you passed. i did this botu 4 years ago and i received two communications from them: one that they received it and then again when i passed.

GOOD LUCK! i wouldn't stress... i am sure they got it... unless you did request return receipt through the post office and you havenn't heard anything.

Okay, thank you! I was sure I had read somewhere in the packet they sent me that they would send me a letter acknowledging that they had my materials, but I didn't remember the specifics. You guys have eased my mind. Thanks!
