Re: snotty co-worker strikes again - is it time to confront my boss about this??

I would try and talk to her before going to the boss. Maybe if SHE knew how her actions make you feel, she'd stop. Maybe she does it without realizing, and once brought to her attention, she'd change her ways?? its a longshot, but at least you'll be the one trying to open up the lines of communication first, before having to go to the boss. Hope it works out for you!! Chat Icon

Re: snotty co-worker strikes again - is it time to confront my boss about this??

I've had this happen to me... and it was my supervisor. She could be nice, but she KNEW that she was such a crab, too. A lot of didn't agree with her way of speaking to people, but I got to a point where I couldn't handle it (directly) anymore, but I never approached her about it... I went to OUR boss. Our boss spoke to her, and she calmed down... but then it eventually came back full force. So I went str8 to HR... she stopped it completely... until she quit.

I've learned that it's a serious matter. It's a level of harrassment, and it interferes with your work. Definitely do something about it.

Don't talk to the boss. Talk to the co-worker. Maybe it is just her opinion that you are doing things incorrectly . Some people are very set in their ways.

Lissette is right, it is a form of harassment. I think you would look more credible to your boss if you tried to go to your co-worker first.
