If you use Dr. Hanauer and have had a baby already
Was Dr. H the one who delivered your baby? I love Dr. H and I'm really hoping she'll be the one to deliver my baby. I've never met Dr. Dolisi, but I've spoken to him and have heard that he's just as great. I'm just wondering the likelihood that Dr. H will be the one.

Yes, she's my MD and was the one who delivered Ryan. Thankfully she was at the hospital when I got there b/c I delivered 10-minutes after I arrived.

I understand wanting your dr. I see dr. Dolisi and think he's great. He delivered my 2 ds's and 8 of my friends dc. So Iwouldn't worry if she's not on call that day. Hope that helps.

Dr H was on vacation when I delivered so Dr. Dolisi delivered me.

She delivered my son. It will be 3 yrears om Wednesday! She got there just in time! She came in when she wasn't even on call! I love that woman! I was very happy she delivered my son!

I see Dr. Hanauer but Dr. Dolisi was on call and delivered my DD. He was great - I wasn't worried at all. This time I still see Dr. Hanauer just because - I really have no preference. He had a great sense of humor during delivery. Plus - the nurses do most of the work anyway!

She delivered my son, but I would have been comfortable with Dr. Dolisi as well. I had a c-section, so I wouldn't say the nurses did all the work but I did go into labor, which resulted in a c-section so I did spend a lot more time with the nurses and they were great!
ETA: I was having contractions for 3 days before the delivery and spoke with both doctors and the PA - they were all great about answering my questions and getting back to me quickly.

I wanted to add that I've seen Dr. Dolisi as well and would have been 100% comfortable with him delivering Ryan and their other MD on call, Dr. Mesbah, performed Ryan's circumcision b/c he was on call that day. We met him and he was very nice and our peditrician said he did an excellent job. Good to know

Dr. Dolisi did my c-section, he was on call the night I went in. i had never met with him before, but he did a great job. I refused to schedule an appt. with him because i was convinced that i would only give birth when dr. h was on call.

DR. H was there that night but Dr. Dolisi scrubbed in and they both did my C-section.

OK I was seeing DR H and she was wonderful at the time. i really really wanted her ot deliever my DD but when i went into labor Dr dolsi was on call and NOW i love him. He was with me during 13 hrs of my labor hr and was gr8 with DH. I then got PPD really bad after and DR. dolisi spoke to DH over the phone and made him understand that it was normal what i was going through. Dr H made me feel bad during that time. Since then i haev stoped hseeing her and i now see him. I ran into her in my neighborhood recently and she kinda blew me off.... so now im really done
