Tomorrow's the big day...
DH starts giving me lupron shots!   I've done the gonal-f ones before- but this is an actual syringe rather than a pen...  Wish me luck please!!!

Best of luck!!! Easy for me to say sitting here, but...remember that the anticipation is the worst part! I learned that with the Ovidrel shot--are they much different from that?

It's very much like the ovidrel shot--- but I only had to do 1 of those and somewhere between 10-14 of these depending on how many days my RE says- I go to see him on my 9th day of lupron to see if we stop at 10 or continue to 14 I think.

Lupron is a piece of cake. I actually felt the Gonal-F injections more than the Lupron ones. Most nights, I didn't even realize DH gave me the shot.

Really easy, nothing to worry about. No mixing or anything like that. You just draw it up and you are done. Granted the Gonal-f pen is the best invention ever. You'll get into a routine pretty quickly. (don't know if that is good or bad actually).

Good Luck !....We started ours last week and I can honestly say, I don't even feel it when DH is giving it to me...Some slight headaches but aside from that, no side effects !
