teaching sightwords w/games

So, I have a student who is in desperate need of learning his sight words. I am playing games with him, such as sight word bingo, does anyone else have any suggestions or games? TIA

yes, memory, bingo, flashcards... they all work. i would also find lower level books that focus almost soley on sight words. also, a word wall in the room might help; it's a visual that will be up every day for them to look at..... and be sure to have him/her do something with the word wall every day/

Id agree with all of these...
they have those cool sentence strip like post -its. You can stick them all over with the words.

You can have him form sentences with words that are meaningful to him - cut up a sentence strip with the words "I" "Want" "(favorite item here)" and he can make the sentence on a felt board, or table, and get that item...
