DH sent this to me, I thought I'd pass it on

i love that - to me, playing "never gonna give you up" means that even though the mets are losing (as always) in the 8th inning their fans won't give up on them
as a yankee fan i'd love to vote for that!!

I'm confused- I heard on the radio today that they decided to 'try out' all the songs that were in the running, a different one for each game and see how the crowd reacts, because they didn't agree with this 'other' song. I heard this on Q104 this morning- I swear!
Hey, as long as you Mets fans don't get my Bon Jovi, I'll be happy!

omg.. i was at the game yesterday when they played it! everyone was booing.. soooooo funny!
but in today's paper they said they will not play that song again! i was so happy to read that! i think they are playing bon jovi at today's game!

I was at the game, too. This did NOT go over well with the fans.
To be honest, I agreed with those who were booing. It was lame. (I didn't boo - It takes a lot for me to "boo" something... but I was laughing hysterically because I remembered reading this thread about it...)
