Re: Very confused
When did you get your BFP? Maybe it was too early to properly detect. I would go to your doctor and get a blood test. That way you'll know for sure.

Re: Very confused
I had this happen to me and I got AF a couple days later....
From what I hear what happened to me is labeled a "chemical pregnancy", which is basically a really early miscarriage (the pregnancy doesn't "stick").

I also had this exact same thing happen twice. What was you first HCG level? Mine was only 19 then 2 days later only went up to 24 and then by day five I had started bleeding. I have my fingers crossed for you that everything will be ok.

Re: Very confused
I'm so sorry
I've had a few chemicals, they are hard to deal with. But, they are not uncommon at all. Only in recent years, now that there are such sensitive tests out there, are women finding out they are PG earlier and then sometimes having a chemical pregnancy.
I know it's not what you want to hear right now, but if it is a chemical PG, it is reassuring that you can get PG (that's how I always tried to look at it).
Good luck this morning

Re: Very confused
so sorry!! it is pretty common and does not affect your being able to get PG again. Just stay positive and maybe wait a little longer to test next time....that way you won't get that disappointment.
