Progesterone Levels
My progesterone levels at 3w3d were at 16.7 and then at 4w3d they dropped to 12.7 I'm going tomorrow for another blood test and sono (I will be 5w4d)
My HCG Levels are high and doubling and I'm NOT having any spotting.
Can someone give me your experience with progesterone levels. Everything I read is making me so scared that I'm going to miscarry. Thanks:)

Re: Progesterone Levels
Oh I'm sorry! Let's try not to worry so much..
I conceived "naturally" so I'm not sure if progesterone is looked at differently (my progesterone seemed to drop on its own, not due to decrease in medicine) so I'm really nervous.
good luck, I'm sure it's all going to be okay. My sister had IVF and her progesterone remained very low in her first trimester and she now has a perfect little baby!

Re: Progesterone Levels
At 6 weeks my progesterone was 31. I never got another reading, they did other blood tests later but I didn't ask what it was again.

Re: Progesterone Levels
I had low progesterone levels my entire 1st trimester. My numbers hovered around 12. I was put on progesterone supplements (vaginal suppositories) from week 5 through week 12. After week 12 it was not an issue anymore because the placenta takes over hormone production at that point and overrides any deficiencies that you have. I am now 17 weeks and everything is great!! Talk to your doctor about progesterone supplements and see what he/she says. If nothing else it's piece of mind for you.

Re: Progesterone Levels
I was told that my progesterone levels were on the lower end at 6 weeks so I was given progesterone supplements as a precaution which I took until 12 weeks when placenta takes over the progesterone production..
Good Luck!! I hope all is well for both of you!!!!

Re: Progesterone Levels
When I got my BFP with this pregnancy my progesterone was 20.6. Two days later it was 19.4. Dr wanted me on progesterone suppositiories 2x a day. I was weaned off by 10 weeks.
