No but there are a group of ladies on IVF connections that go there and seem happy with them.

I am a patient. As a matter of fact I just had my beta this morning. I am cautiously optimistic after my first ivf. My hpts are bfp but I will have my beta results within a couple of hours. Dr. Herschlag is very nice and likes to give hugs. Personally I prefer Dr. Scholl.

I go to another doctor at NSUH, but I've seen Dr. Hershlag several times for monitoring and IUIs. I have always had a good experience with him.

Who is his daughter?
I see another doctor at North Shore and so far I've been very happy with them. Everything seems to run smoothly there.

I also go to NS and I really like it there. The staff is so nice. I haven't seen Dr. Herschlag yet.
I've heard his daughter is Natalie Portman.

Of all the doctors I saw at North Shore he was the one that I didnt like.
I went to see Dr. Chu and she was wonderful!! Good Luck!!

Two of my friends used him-- neither loved him but, both felt he was very competent (one of them is on staff at NS).

I go to NSUH, and my doc is Dr. Scholl who I love. I have seen Hershlag a couple of times, he is always very nice, and yes he is a hugger.
PS- His daugter is the spitting image of him

ok, so he likes to hug..creepy much?
then again my regular doc of 20 years hugs me each time I see him..umm..that's different.
I guess if I'm not comfy with him I can go try another doc there.

I did find the hug a little unsettling probably b/c I was naked from the waste down with only a sheet covering, not to mention the af. Dr Scholl did my monitoring for ivf and I really like him. Dr Cohen did my ER and ET, all I can say is that I got a positive beta yesterday so you know I am pleased with him as well

I like hugging, but while I'm butt naked and on a table..hmm..not so much.
I could just nip it in the bud..just announce a no hugging while naked policy with me..

Dr. Chu was my primary Dr....but I saw him many times in the course of my IF treatments and I liked him a lot. My Dh did too.
