Beer and Wine for 55 adults?

Can someone tell me how much I should buy of each (bottles)??

Also for beer--- which brands would you prefer? I know we're gonna get Corona...but what other brands?

I would count on a six pack person. So if you are doing wine too.. maybe 4 beers person and one bottle of wine for each 2 or 3 peopler. We NEVER buy enough and always wind up running out to get more.

For beer I would probably do a mix of Heineken, Corona, and Coors Light (good to have one light beer).

have you seen the heineken mini kegs? they are a big hit at our parties.

I think it depends on the type of drinkers you have.

are they heavy drinkers?

I'd get

3 magnums of pinio gregio
2 mag of cabernet
and then a bottle of chardonnay, perhaps a reisling.

and then for beer...

two cases (24 in a case) of corona
a case of stella
a 12 pack of bass
two 6 packs of guiness
a case of lite beer (either coors, bud, corona lite)

and then I always like to pick up a bottles of vodka, in case.

I would do atleats 4 magnums of red and 4 of white. For beer I would probably do 32 Corona, Corrs Light and Heinikin.
