Abigail Has Learned How to Escaped!!!

Abigail just learned to climb out of her crib!!!!

We converted her crib to a little bed and now she slides out and destroys everything in her room until she is so tired then falls asleep on the floor. She was able to get out of her room until I put up a safety gate, but she cries and cries until she is soooo worn out before she falls asleep.

Any advice?

How do we get her to stay in there?

It seems impossible.

It's almost funny. She will do anything to stay with me instead of napping. She will say "eat,,,,," want to give hugs, wink her eyes and cry forever.

OH NO! I am so sorry!

My DS climbed out of his crib and somewhat destroyed his room - that's when we knew it was time for a big boy bed. He was a little over 2 at the time - not sure how old your daughter is...

To our surprise if DS wakes up in the middle of the night he sits in bed and calls us - doesn't really roam the room and empty drawers like he used to - go figure!

The gate is a good idea...you can also put safety latches on the drawers that you don't want her to empty and remove the toys temporarily from the room...maybe she will get the pic that she needs to stop

Abigail is 20 months now. Every day is a new experience.

Little by little it seems I can't do as much as I used to.

Abigail is my 2nd child and the first I have really been at home with this much. I now truly understand what "stay @ home moms" go through. It's not as easy as I thought it would be. Not at all.
