I'm scared

I am only about 5 weeks pregnant. Last night I started bleeding a little bit. (It wasn't a lot-just a tiny bit when I wiped. sorry if TMI.) I called the doctor (he was at the hospital) and he told me I could go to the ER and they'd do blood work and do an internal sonogram. So I went with DH last night and they did all that. I had a little blood in there, but they said it's a 50/50 chance it could go either way and these next few days are critical. Either I will miscarry, or sometimes a little bleeding is normal and I'll go on to have a normal pregnancy. So today I was doing ok, there wasn't really any blood. Now I just peed and there was a little more blood. I'm so scared this is taking a turn for the worse. Thanks for listening.

I know how you feel.

Is the blood red? are you cramping also? does it seem like you are passing tissue matter or clots? that is when you need to worry. Some ladies bleed normally throught their PG

It was brown and when I just went before it was a little more red, but not bright red. So far, no clots or tissue matter. I'm not cramping.

i had bright red bleeding at 5-6 weeks, not a ton but enough for me to worry, everything was fine and I'm 20 weeks now, my dr said bleeding in the beginning can be very normal

When I was 7 weeks and 9 weeks PG I bled. I was sooooo scared. I had a lot of bright red blood and I was cramping. I went to the drs and they didn't know why. Everything was fine still. My son is almost 2!!! I'm sure everything is fine.

I also had bleeding form week 6-8 and everything was fine!

I had spotting like you described up till week 10...it is scary. But it was only when I would wipe and it wasn't bright red, mostly pink or brown. Stay positive and I am hoping your situation is the same as mine was

my prayers are with you! I never expierenced this but my friend did for such a long time during her pregnancy. She left work many times crying and running to the hospital b/c she was gushing blood (sorry if TMI) but she and her daughter were fine all along! The Dr's couldn't explain it and it eventually stopped. Good luck! Stay postitive!

I had a little bit of pink blood around week 9. It only lasted for a day or 2 and I tried not to think to much of it. I am now 12 weeks, just had a healthy doc app. and everything is fine. It is hard not to worry but I am sure that just makes things worse. They say sometimes its old blood or that you can break blood vessels while doing the bd. Hope it all works out for ya

A million to you i am thinking of you and praying for you if you need to talk i am here. i recently had two m/c not saying you are just saying if you have any questions about teh bleeding feel free to ask. i hope that this turns out ok for you...

I also had some spotting with this pregnancy, thankfully everything is fine. Try to stay positive.

Thanks ladies. So far, nothing else has happened. A little brown blood sometimes when I pee (sorry if TMI.) I'm supposed to see the doctor again this week, so we'll see what happens then. Thanks again for listening!
