Ladies who've had a DNC
how long did it take for AF to come back? (Asking for a friend) And did you have to take anything (like provera) for it to return? What is the norm?

I MCd naturally but it took 5 weeks for it to return. And no, I didnt have to take anything.

I got AF about 8 weeks after my D&C
It came naturally. Ever since, my periods have been very regular (thank goodness)

It took about 3 months after my D&C until AF finally showed up -- and I too have been regular since.

I went natural and I spotted for 6 weeks until a full blown AF came. I m/c on Dec 21 and got AF on Jan 31

i had a d&c 4 weeks ago and i am still waiting. my dr said between 4-6 weeks is the average.

I think a lot of it depends on how far along you are... the earlier you are, the quicker the recovery. I didn't have a D&C, I miscarried naturally at 6 weeks... I got pregnant before my first AF, but to give you perspective, I conceived about a week after the miscarriage. Remind your friend that you're HIGHLY HIGHLY fertile after a miscarriage, so if she plans on waiting to TTC again, she should be careful!

I have had 2 dnc's for 2 m/c and both times I got AF about 4 weeks later

i had to take provera to get my period. it was 12 weeks past the dnc, and once i took the provera, i got my period 10 days later.

i mc mnaturally and got af 26 days form eth day i started to bloeed i have a mc teh 2nd time and had a d&c and i got my af 26 days again to teh day i started to bleed. i dont know if thast the norm
