Spotting at 5w 6d?

Has anyone had this and it was fine? I have mild cramping yesterday and today and just noticed a drop of blood (darker blood - not a ton but enough to scare me). I have a ob/gyn appt in an hour Thank God so they can tell me whats up but I am so scared. anyone have this at this stage and turn out OK?

i had a bit more than spotting at that stage for a day or two, I am 20 weeks now and everything is fine, my doctor did a sono to make sure everything was good, and it was and he said it can be very normal to bleed

I didn't have the cramping, but I did have a drop of blood, a decent amount it. It was only on the TP, and it was just that only time.
I ended up going to the doctor a couple of days later and they monitored me, but thought it was just a little blood clot - I am now in my 17th week and everything is fine.
I did have a little pink spotting also, it ended up being that my progesterone was low and needed to be on suppositories through the rest of my first trimester.
