Clothes for Europe?
I'm going on a European cruise in July, and I'm not sure what to bring. I have been on many cruises so I don't need help with what to wear while on the ship. I need help with what to wear while walking around in Europe. I'm guessing I won't be able to wear flip flops much. Any suggestions?

I did a European cruise for my honeymoon. Get yourself a cute pair of sneakers or comfy flats. Our feet were KILLING us after walking around Athens!

That is what I was thinking. I will definitely bring a pair of sneakers with me.

Re: Clothes for Europe?
We did a European cruise for our hm as well, and all I wore off the ship were sneakers, the excursions were very long and a lot of walking.

Re: Clothes for Europe?
Do you plan to go to any churches? Some of them require your shoulders are covered and legs - so maybe some tees hirts (rather than tank tops) and some long skirts or longer capris rather than shorts. When I studied in Italy - a few people on our trip to Venice had to wait outside b.c they had tank tops and shorts or knee length skirts on.
Some places will let you cover your shoulders with a sweater or shawl/scarf.

Re: Clothes for Europe?
definitely sneakers!! the sidewalks are cobble stone and u will walk walk walk! i wore long shorts--bermuda type and was fine in most (actually i believe all) churches...
to the Vatican i did wear a skirt.....if you decide to see churches, you can still wear a tank top just bring a long scarf to wrap around your shoulders ( you can wear it as a belt and then take it off when you go into the churches) i witnessed many people trying very interesting ways to cover up their legs and shoulders (paper, napkins, etc)..it was quite entertaining! it is hot....also some people wore the pants that zip off and turn into shorts.....they also sell like paper looking pants outside of some churches............if you have any other ?, feel free to fm me-- have fun....it is awesome!
