Re: Has anyone else been to Uncle Guiseppe's?
I go to the one in East Meadow. We love their Ravoli & Tortilini. And they have amazing stuffed pork chops! I have not had anything bad from there!!

I cannot walk in there without spending a ton of $$$$...which is why I try and limit my visits!
Everything is good!

I go to the one in East Meadow all of the time! They have a great produce department and some great meat. I don't really purchase much of their prepared foods though. Iavarone in Wantagh has awesome prepared foods.

Re: Has anyone else been to Uncle Guiseppe's?
DH and I love shopping there. We usually spend a lot of money, but we have never gotten anything bad from there. DD loves to be pushed around in the cart listening to the italian music. We have gone a few times and they have had a live singer which was great.

I love this place. I usually just run in and out on my way home from work. I'd love to take one day with DH and shop there!

Re: Has anyone else been to Uncle Guiseppe's?
I love Uncle Giuseppe's - but only for certain things. I think its a bit pricey for the "everyday" type items (like cereal, household items, dairy, etc.) which you can generally find cheaper/on sale more often at the larger supermarkets so we dont do a "full shop" when we go. But they do run pretty good specials on meat and the quality has always been excellent. We treat ourselves every once in awhile with the fresh pastas but Im always a little disappointed in the prepared foods so I stay away from them now. And the bakery is great too - they bring in fresh baked bread everyday from Arthur Ave in the Bronx so it pays to go early :) As you can see, DH and I take the whole supermarket/food thing very seriously!

ITA!!! (Almost) Except I have to say that although the bread is good, I'm not a huge fan of the bakery.

Re: Has anyone else been to Uncle Guiseppe's?
I have been to both in East Meadow and Smithtown. The Smithtown store is bigger and nicer. They are both great stores. I find you have to watch it in there because it can add up pretty quickly. I love there deli counter- and the pasta, and sauces.
