How was your first day back?
I had a horrible day. I got to work at 6:40 to find that some students' work (reflections, rubrics, first drafts, and comments) were missing from my board in the hallway. We are required to have this by the bulletin board, especially because today was day 1 of quality review. Then, I had a kid throw a temper tantrum and throw his book against a wall. After he came back into class, he throws the book on the floor and grunts. And thennnnnnnn, a kid vomits all over my sign out board for the bathroom and decides not to tell me anything. This is only the AM. I won't even tell you about PM. June can't come any sooner!

I'm glad it was rainy. I find the kids are quiter when it rains.
But I DID have my first battle with in class morning sickness today. Not good.

i go back Wednesday!  I'll let you know then.... but at least my student teacher will be doing a lot of the teaching on Wednesday.... now that I think of it, that was very mean of me! They're always crazy when they come back!

I was ok. Kids were quiet. Thank god for the rain, it made it easier to go back!

It was excellent. Kids were quiet-they seemed tired. 4th graders were being tested so a lot of my classes were small or cancelled!

mine wasn't too bad. I'm showing a movie to both 6th and 7th grade since it's my last week before maternity leave. It was a perfect movie day and the kids seemed to enjoy both movies

Today was ok...I'm getting over the stomach flu from the weekend so I was tired and weak but my kids were great
I had 4 absent out of my 15.
