So where will Manny end up going to ??
He says he wants out of Boston. Ortiz says he will not return. His million dollar mansion outside Boston is for sale. Baseball's winter meetings are this week.
Where will Manny end up?
Frankly... I hope he stays in Boston. The Yankee/RedSox rivalry simply will not be the same with him gone (at least from an outsider's perspective).
I don't want him on the Mets. We would have to give up Floyd, and probably Heilman and our best outfield prospect Lastings Milledge. Thats way too much to pay for what I feel is only a slight upgrade (Manny for Floyd).
My guess is he goes to Anaheim. But I also wouldn't be surprised if he ends up in Philadelphia in a deal for the Sox to get Bobby Abreu.
We will see I suppose.

He'll probably stay with Boston, but jeez if he goes to Anaheim it scares me to think about Manny with Vlad in the same lineup.
