Hello Girls!
I am just moving to LIF from LIW and wanted to say Hi! I am in the process of moving from Staten Island to Nesconset. I'd love any recommendations of great places in the Smithtown/Nesconset area. I've been looking for restaurants, parks, hair salons, grocery stores, etc!

As far as recommendations:
Sundried Tomato for pasta
Giorgio's for pizza
Great Wall for takeout chinese
Maureens for breakfast
Don's carwash
and good luck with the grocery stores...the closest is King Kullen, but I never liked it and would shop at ShopRite...there is also a Waldbaums on 454/111

Im in Nesconset too..I shop at Shoprite in Hauppauge.
If you like Greek Food there is a Greek place right where Sundried Tomato is that's awesome!!!! The Chinese food place by that King Kullen that Gertyrae is talking about is good too..I dont know the name though...Dont forget that there is a Trader Joes right by the Smithaven mall!!!!

Hello and Welcome! I used to live in Nesconset and was going to say, don't forget Smithaven Mall is right there.
I used to shop at Shoprite and Stop & Shop which is right across the street from the mall.
Also at Smithaven they opened up Barnes & Noble next to Cheesecake Factory.
My favorite Pizza places are Little Vincent's on Portion Road and Uncle Joe's on 25 (Up past the mall heading into Centereach).
Good Luck with the move.
