Back from Puerto Vallarta (RIU)
Had a wonderful time.. Will post pics and review shortly.
Weather was phenomenal! high 80s every day and a light breeze..
The resort is on the ocean, large beach, however, the water wasnt 'blue' it actually looked like the atlantic, but it was still nice.. sand was nice..

puerto vallarta is on the pacific side not the caribbean side...
i can't wait to hear about the RIU i'm wondering how the resorts are.

glad to hear you like it there. We went to Riu in Cancun and loved it and would like to try their other places.

We were just in PV a few weeks ago (4/13-4/18). It was great.
