Re: Do you think those Chinese foot pads work

nope, it's a scam - 20/20 actually did a story on them, they tested the used pads and found no toxins, and later discovered that the pads turn colors after just adding water to them - they change colors when your feet sweat at night apparently.

Re: Do you think those Chinese foot pads work

I always seem to trust these remedies and practices where no one stands to make a buck off of it... like what would be the point of endorsing something that doesnt work when you wont make $? So the fact that you have to buy something makes me think they are super shady

Re: Do you think those Chinese foot pads work

someone posted a not sure when it was and alot of people posted about how they either used them or knew someone who used and that they didnt work.

They only turn black when it comes in contact with water.

GOOD to know! I came across this ad in USA Weekly magazine and was seriously considering buying them!

Well, that product may not work but we do have toxins in our body.

Best way to get rid of them is drinking water to flush them out.

what i mean to say is i don't believe in "toxins" as the "poison" (for lack of a better word) that people make them out to be. i think they're a natural occurrance in the body and aren't "evil" (again, lack of a better word) if you don't rid your body of them

Yes, toxins are a natural occurence in our body. "natural" toxins. But we are sometimes exposed to toxins our body is not made to process (fertilizer, hormones in food, etc..). Our body cannot eliminate all toxins (especially the one "manmade").

Most of the "normal" toxins are excreted through the body own filtration system.

Re: Do you think those Chinese foot pads work

yeah, there's no way to 'detox' yourself....especially of the stuff those foot pads claim to remedy....

heavy metals? no way
asbestos? ditto

there are tons of not-so-natural toxins in our body.... many are detoxed (just like medications) by cytochromes in the liver.... others are filtered out by the kidneys

mercury and asbestos are here to stay... no way to remove it... so be weary of fillets of large fish........

Must be because they are heavy and they sink down to your feet! Chat Icon This must also be why old people shuffle, their feet have become too heavy with the heavy metals and they can't lift them Chat Icon It is all starting to make sense Chat Icon
