We are making a half dozen flowers similar to those. They will trace flower templates, glue on little pictures that I did of them in photoshop and then add a green pipe cleaner. Then we will wrap them in tissue. Will it be time consuming?

I teach 3rd grade. They write letters to their moms picking three words to describe their mom and reasons what makes their mom special... They are typing it, adding pictures and putting it on construction paper. Thats it... no crafts for me this year!!

The kids painted a really nice picture of flowers in a vase, and I rolled them all up and put a ribbon on them. Then in class we are making a card. On the outside is a vase with flowers that you can pull out, and on the inside is a poem:Pick a flower and you will see the the job you picked this week for me! And on the stem of the flowers is a job for the child to do, like dust the house. We cut the vase out of old wallpaper scraps and just glued the edges down so we could stick the flowers in...

We made boxes aout of craft sticks. then we spray painted them and. We are filling them with chocolate kisses

My Pre-K is having a mother's day "tea" today....We made jello jigglers in the shape of butterflies w/ them yesterday. Today we're making fresh lemonade (the moms are bringing coffee/& iced tea) & baking cookies, etc.
I taught them a few mom songs.
We made bookmarks using crayon shavings & wax paper.
We planted marigold seeds in cups & they sprouted (I was going to buy marigold flowers, but then thought it may mean more like this).
They colored little coupons (for a bear hug, clean my room, etc.) & we put them together like a little book.
