Actually similar story happened to a middle aged couple I know.
They went there b/c they heard the food was good. Well, as the night went on they stayed for drinks and slowly realized the husband of the couple was the ONLY man in the entire place.

I worked there for a few months when they first opened. The food is delicious and the owner, Jackie, is the sweetest person ever, as is their cook.
ETA: It was never meant to be a "lesbian bar" lol. But, most of their night crowd is a group of their "friends"

Been there a couple of times for lunch & once for dinner, I never noticed honestly. Funny because I was with some friends. Anyway the food is great!
