Re: The GM diet
No, I don't think it's healthy at all - any diet that restricts you to eating one particular food group, even for just one day, is not healthy.
Yes, you'll probably lose a lot of weight, quickly, but the quicker you take it off, the quicker it comes back, with a vengeance.
The hardest, most difficult and arduous way to lose weight, and keep it off, is the good ol' fashioned way - a healthy, balanced diet with smaller portions, and exercise.
I started doing that about 10 years ago, and I went from 165lbs to 135lbs, and kept it off until I had Alex. Even then, I only gained back 10lbs, and by going back to that lifestyle, I've gone back down to 135lbs in the span of 2 months, and intend on staying here by adopting fully my new lifestyle.

Re: The GM diet
As Beth said, it seems too restrictive to be effective over a long period of time. It's one of those diets that when you go back to eating a balanced diet, you will definitely gain weight.
Honestly, I did South Beach and have been off of it for 3 weeks and have gained back 3-4 lbs in those weeks. I don't think this is what you want. It was a great way to drop weight quickly but it's so difficult to keep it off.

Isn't that the Cabbage Soup Diet?
I know there is a cabbage soup receipe involved not sure if its the same thing...
The girl has been really sick for the past 2 days- not sure if its because she went back to eating normal foods or what.
It did work though, she dropped 8lbs last week, and she isnt very heavy to begin with..
