Repost from 05 - Not sure how this would look!! Would like some opinions!!!

I got alot of really really nice china, glasses etc from my shower that I really love. I have NO room for a china cabinet, but would LOVE to be able to display some of it.
DH and I have been thinking of adding another cabinet above the fridge connecting two sets of cabinets that already exsist ( still with me?)
Its a pretty tall decently wide space.

Would it look horrible if I had glass doors put on it so I can use it to display some of our things?

The reason that I am not sure is b/c it is going to be over a fridge.
It was really going to be a "Storage" cabinet anyway since its high up and out of the way.

If you don't need the extra room for the storage, then go for it!!

We opted to use that area for storage, but honestly everytime I go up there for something, it usually falls out, or I drop it, or I break something

But I think it would look terrific with a nice cabinet with glass doors, and you can even have a light installed at the top of the cabinet to give accent lighting to the items you are displaying.

I think that would be perfect....it's displaying something without it being in the way! Our apt. had a wine rack built in the cabinets above the fridge.
