Question:

Is it possible for me to be leaking amniotic fluid slowly?? I am 3 days overdue, and i have been wearing panty liners religiously so as not to ruin my underwear with any discharge. But the past few days, when i go to the bathroom, it seems that the pantyliner is wet. Now I am wondering.. could it be urine that i dont feel coming out? I was having contractions yesterday thinking maybe it was time, but then they went away. The reason that I am getting nervous is of course that my fluid levels were borderline low on my last sono which was done on thurs. (of course this sono was done at work, so i dont wanna tell my Dr's i had another one at work cause they'll prob get mad.) They have me scheduled for a sono on Tues at their office if nothing happens before then.

I am just confused. I dont know if i should bother to call them, shlep to L&D to find out i am peeing.... or just call the Dr to set my mind at ease. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this wetness before??? TIA!

Call your DR and let him know of your concerns. He/She should be able to tell you what to do and where to go.
