Question. . .
I went for back to back IUI's on 5/2 and 5/3. I ovulated on the 3rd. I have been having some pg symptoms but they feel a lot like my period and my boobs aren't sore. Anyway, I tested with CBE digital on CD10 (Tues.) and I got the BFN. I waited to test and then yesterday I couldn't hold back and I tested in the afternoon w/ first response (CD12) and it was another BFN. I then went to my IVF workshop which totally overwhelmed and scared me. When I got home I prayed that I am preg. now. I tested again this morning with FR and I had a very very faint line but it was there. The question is. . .can it be a positive? I go for my Beta bloodwork tomorrow morning. So I'll no for sure.

They do say a line is a line 
but if you can't wait until beta, try a test with a lower sensitivity, this website is a great resource and lists the amounts of HCG that HPTs can readpoas

It sounds like it is positive, but it was too soon for the other tests. For me, I had faint lines in the beginning too. Good luck!

Thanks for that website. When I clicked on the first response I did see a sample of what my stick looks like. I hope this is it.

it sounds like it could be positive. your boobs don't have to hurt as an early pg symptom. mine hurt way more during regular cycles than the did during this entire pregnancy. testing at 10DPO and in the afternoon so early on can lead to false BFNs. As you get closer to 14 DPO (tomorrow, right?) you should see the line. Don't forget, PG tests are yes/no tests. While the tests may get darker as you get a higher concentration of hCG, a line is a line. I hope this is it for you!

Ok I am officially driving myself crazy. I know that I won't know for sure until tomorrow. I clicked on the link in one of the above posts and I saw one of the tests that resembled my test. Then I read on and it talked about evap lines. I am now nervous only b/c I tested at 5am and looked quick didn't really see a line b/c it was early and I wanted to get back in bed for another hour. I stayed at my sister's last night so I put the test in my pocket book. I thoroughly checked it out at work and that's when I saw the line. I am hoping it is not an evap. line. Ok sorry for going on and on but, I just really want this. Thank you all for listening. I am going to get a good night sleep and just pray that tomorrow morning that I get good news.

My bloodwork came back negative. The nurse said it was b/c I took a trigger shot and that prob. showed up on my test. I am so upset!! Oh well now on for IVF. As soon as I get AF I have to call to start my BCPs. Thank you all for your wishes. It will happen for all of us, some sooner than later. But it WILL happen.

I'm so sorry. If you have any questions on IVF let me know. It's not as horrible as it sounds. Can be stressful, but not bad.
