What do you think? (CBEFM question)
This is our 4th month using the CBEFM.
The first month I started testing on CD 6 and had 3 low days & 7 high days before peak.
The second month I started testing on CD 9 and had 0 low days & 12 high days before peak.
The third month I started testing on CD 9 and had 4 low days & 4 high days before peak.
This month I started testing on CD 9 and had 2 low days, and now on CD 11 I have my first high day.
We're not so good at having the BD marathons. I don't want to "waste" BDing, if we won't be getting the peak for a while. Ideally, I'd like for us to BD the day before first peak, day of first peak, day of second peak and the following day - but I'm trying to figure out when that "day before first peak" will be and that is where I'm lost.
Any words of advice?
I just thought that for most women (why can't I be "most women?!") you'd only get 1-5 high days before peak. That would mean I'd O on CD 17, which would be pretty early for me (earliest since I've been TTC).
Sorry, I'm rambling....

I got one high day and then 2 peak days. I thought you have to start the CBEFM on CD5-6..I didn't know you can start on other days.
I know what you mean by saving the BDing.
I've only used it one month so far..I'm in the 2ww now..9DPO.

With the CBEFM, it will have you start testing on either CD 6 or CD 9. I think I start on CD 9 because I have longer cycles and it helps me not to use so many sticks.

Hi. You might be able to see a pattern in the lines of your test stick results. Have you saved your sticks from other cycles?
For me, the results on the day before my Peak, shows the line on the right is about the same tint as the control line on the left, and I get a High reading. On my Peak day (the next day), the line on the right is darker than the control line.

I just started using CBE digital ovulation sticks along with my monitor. If I use it late in the day, I get the smiley the day before peak and then I know it is my last high day. I too found it difficult figuring out what day is the last high day and this has helped. Good luck!

I save my sticks too, and you can see the pattern, the lines get gradually darker, thats how I know I will be getting my peak.

This is the first time I'm using it. I guess it will get to know me.

It's automatic that after your first peak (egg) day, you will get another peak (egg) day and a following high (2 bars) day.
