Re: cervical cerclage
I had a shortened cervix at 24 weeks, but it was too late by then to get the cerclage. I did spend the next 12 weeks on bed rest. Will you be on bed rest the remainder of your pregnancy now? Good luck!

Re: cervical cerclage
The girl I roomed with after my last delivery had to have one at 23 weeks because she was dialated to 3cm. She was on full bedrest up until she delivered at 36 or 37 weeks.

Sounds like it. I can work from home, but the doctor wants to monitor me for a week or 2 before deciding if she wants me to even do that.

I know someone who had a cerclage and worked until 37 weeks - they took it out and I think she went into labor 2 weeks later (singleton).
You are lucky that you can still get one, it was too late for me. Feel good!

Re: cervical cerclage
Thanks for the responses. I'll do anything to carry these babies to term, so if bedrest is what is ordered, bedrest is what I will do!

Re: cervical cerclage
I had the same problem but it was too late to get the cerclage, I was on strict bedrest in the hospital for 10 weeks until my DS was born at 37 weeks. Stay positive and do whatever the drs say.
ETS: I didn't realize I was on the multiples board, I only have one DC
