Anyone ever hear/use this??
Lucinda Basset started the Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety and she has a program that claims to be able to alleviate all stress/anxiety/depression without medicine.
The whole system is supposed to be used for like12-15 weeks or so and costs almost $500. Anyone try this or know about it?

i read her books and they were great but i cant see spending that much for her program
maybe take her books out of the library first and see what you think of her approach

I read her first book - which is how I stumbled upon her website and program. I really liked the book, but am wondering if the actual program is more comprehensive.... or just a repeat of the books.
If not for the price, I probably would've bought it already.... I just don't want to spend that kind of money on something that I don't know will work

Re: Anyone ever hear/use this??
i used the program and it worked for me (along w. other things) it was one of my tools to help control my anxiety. i dont know if it could solely help someone tho. I did alot of cognitive therapy, meditated, took some meds, did yoga, exercised, went to a therapist ate sunflower seed (which distracted me while driving so i wouldnt think about being anxious) etc. someone purchased it for me as a gift. not sure if i would spend that money on it tho.
