When should you find a pediatrician?
When are you supposed to pick a pediatrician? I am 31 weeks now and have no clue who I will use for a pediatrician. I live in NJ now and don't know anyone in my area that has kids to ask for a recommendation. How do you find out who is good? I'm thinking I might have to start asking the other women in the waiting room when I go for my OB appointments.

where in NJ are you? i am in union county...
i plan on asking my OB for recs and see who is a part of this medical "group" i have been seeing. i will also contact my old pediatrician (local to the area) and see if he has any recommendations as i think if he's still practicing he'll be retiring soon.
i plan on doing this in the next month or so and i'm only 17 weeks...

I'm in Middlesex County. I guess I should ask my OB if they have any recommendations also.
