35+ weeks occasional pressure & burning sensation down there?
I'm 35 1/2 weeks & for the last week or so I have been experiencing what feels like some pressure down there but it is also sometimes accompanied by a burning sensation. It comes & go. I guess I notice it sometimes when I get up from sitting, or walking, & when my bladder is full. It is definitely not a UTI or anything like that & it doesn't happen when I'm going to the bathroom. I think I also started to drop a little bit. Could it be just that? Could it be a sign I started to dialate or efface? Anyone have this happening, & did it mean you had any progress @ internals? I go on Thursday for my first one & hoping this could be a good sign of something in the works. Thanks!

Re: 35+ weeks occasional pressure & burning sensation down there?
I will be 35 weeks on thursday and i have been feeling the same thing.
I think the baby is just getting into position and that's why we're feeling more pressure down there (especially when i first get up and start walking around). I also think that the baby is tap dancing on my bladder because i feel like i have to pee a lot more now and it can sometimes hurt. Not painful, but a sting here or there (and i'm not talking about when i pee, just when i get up).
So you're not alone. I go on wednesday for my next appointment so i'll let you know what the doctor says.
