My dad was just diagnosed with this. He has been giving himself hepron ( blood thinner) shots in his stomach a few times day in the hospital. Hopefully, he'll get the echocardiogram done today and be released. But the Drs. are worried about blood build up or clots around his heart that could result in a stroke. Additionally, we were told he as an enlarged heart.
Does anyone have any info or experience with this?
