Bulk meat prices at Costco
Does anyone have ideas about the prices for the basics like chicken, pork chops and ground beef?
I never really bought meat in bulk but think I might start to save some $$$.
ETA: also what about the cans of soda? I dont remember how much they are b/c I really only buy soda from there when I am having a party. Is it cheaper than the 4 (48 cans) for $10 deals at Waldbaums and Stop & Shop?

I love buying there. Fresh and good select cuts. I also buy bags of the frozen chicken breast which is great. You can also have the butcher there cut up slabs of meat for you.

This is what I saw at Costco (melville) fromthis part weekend.....
Ground beef - $1.99/lb
Center cut pork chops (thick cut) - $2.49/lb
Don't know about the soda.

I buy soda whenever they are on sale at Target or anywhere else. I don't find them to be cheap there.

Soda is like $8 for a pack of 36 or 48 (not sure which) I think it's a decent price - meat is cheaper but not sure of the prices to compare (although I have compared and it works out cheaper)

We love the marinated chicken in individual pouches --- it's a perfect size for us.

we just picked this up on Sunday. the lemon chicken and garlic and herb were yummy.
