Running with Scissors Author- New Book
I Loved Running with Scissors! I just read that Burroughs' new book "A Wolf at the Table" is out starting today
anyone reading it? heard things about it?

I read a review and an interview with him. It is a memoir of his relationship with his very abusive father. His father passed away in 2005 and he felt free spiritually to tell the story... Very intense and dark book, apparently.

If he's not holding back with this book, then I don't know if I can read this one  With Running with Scissors, there were LOTS of things I just wasn't quite expecting.

I liked his other books, but this one not so much. I started it and don't know if I will pick it up again. I found it to be darker and more depressing than his other books.

I haven't read this new book yet, but I read Dry (the sequel to Running with Scissors) and loved it! It was better than Running with Scissors.
