Re: Stupid question
I egg and bread my cutlets, the I put them in a baking dish ( I use one from Papmered Chef but you can use any type). I spray the pan with oilive oil from my spritzer (or use PAM), put the cutlets in the pan then I spray the top of the cutlets also.
Bake in the oven for 20 mins or so...depending on how thick your cutlets are.
I then top with sauce and cheese and cook until cheese is melted and sauce is hot!!

You never brown the chicken in the frying pan? The bread crumbs stay on in the sauce

Re: Stupid question
Thanks I am going to try this. I hate frying my cutlets. I rarely make chicken cutlet parm anymore because i hate that you have to fry them. Baking them would be much healthier.

no I cook the chicken first...in th oven...THEN put the sauce and cheese on it. When i cook the chicken like I said, it makes it crispy like it was fried
