how much food for 75 people ??

We need to figure out what we need for DD's christening party. How many trays of food or heroes would we need?? What do you suggest serving?

I would probably do a menu something like this:

I would do 8 trays of food:

baked ziti - 2
chicken francese/parm - 1 each
pasta primavera or with vodka sauce - 1
sausage & meatballs - 1
eggplant parm or rollatini - 1
roasted potatoes - 1/2
grilled or steamed veggies - 1/2

Chicken nuggets & fries for the kids

And order 30 wraps cut into thirds. Ask the deli to make a bunch vegetarian.


Some antipasta salad, green salad, bread, etc.


If it's outdoor & you have access to a grill, I'd probably substitue some of the trays above with shish kabobs (beef, chicken, veggie), ribs, grilled chicken, sliced steak that sort of thing.
