My college room mate had this book when it came out in 1992 (showing my age) While I think it was tastefully done, I thought it had no context. It seemed pointless to me.

I can see that it would be considered "art".
Personally I never understood why she did it. I always felt you do this kind of book because you want to be famous or make money.
She was already famous and rich.
Because of this book, it actually turned me off and I stopped listening to her.

My ex BF's father had this book. I saw it when it first came out. I don't think it is a big deal.

My best friend bought this book way back when it first came out. I didn't feel that it was all that shocking. That was the phase she was in back then, with her Erotic video and the Truth or Dare movie..
