Mayor Bloomberg
I was watching the news and they had a report on schools and the heat. Bloomberg basically had no sympathy or compassion for the children or teachers. He is such a jerk! I would love to stick him in a hot classroom with 30 children!  Sorry, I just had to vent! Politicians who know nothing about education or being a teacher tend to annoy me.

at dh's school, a lot of teachers brought in fans from home to put in the classroom. all the teachers' got a memo in their box about how this was not allowed because the school was old and it's was too much on the fuse box, etc.
meanwhile, all the APs, secretaries and whomever sent out the memo are sitting in their ice-cold air conditioned offices!
doesn't sound fair to me!

My favorite is during the winter when he makes his speech about all non essential vehciles staying off the road...however schools are open...HE is an a$$hole and so is Klein
